Bluebonnet’s CellularActive® CoQ10 Ubiquinol Vegetarian Softgels contains the “active” Antioxidants form of CoQ10 (ubiquinol) rather than the popular, oxidized form (ubiquinone). Ubiquinol is already in the form best absorbed by the body, which makes it more effective as a supplement. Most other Coq10 Ubiquinol supplements use ubiquinone, which must be converted into ubiquinol in order for the body to use it.
As we age, our CoQ10 levels naturally lower, and our bodies’ ability to convert ubiquinol drops. This compromises the body, particularly the heart, leading to increased damage and inflammation in the arteries.
