Great Lakes Unflavored Beef Gelatin

Gelatin is known for being an ingredient that gives jelly and other foods a gummy texture. But, it’s also a type of protein that can have a great effect on our bodies. Gelatin consists of a long molecular chain of amino acids, which are actually the same found in collagen peptides. Similarly, gelatin is also extracted from bones, skin and other connective tissues, so it’s commonly referred to as the cooked version of collagen.

While it can be sourced from a variety of different animals, beef gelatin can help improve skin, hair, and nail health, support a healthy skeletal system, aid digestive, promote joint health, and aid the development of muscles. This is the reason why many folks take beef gelatin to bolster their workout regime, improve their appearance, and to help control hunger spurts.

Great Lakes Unflavored Beef Gelatin powder can help deliver a powerful protein boost in a convenient, easy-to-use format. This pure unflavored beef gelatin powder is extracted from skin, bones, and other collagen-rich connective tissues that come from pasture-raised, grass-fed cows. What’s more, Great Lakes gelatin is completely flavorless and is soluble in cold and hot drinks, making it ideal for hot beverages, smoothies, and even protein-packed gummy bears.

  • Good for Your Gut: Supports digestive health
  • Soluble Powder: Ideal for cold or hot liquids and foods
  • Ideal for Protein Gummies: Yes
  • Sourced from Grass-Fed Cows: Pasture-raised animals that produce quality gelatin

This Great Lakes unflavored gelatin can be added to food as a natural thickener that will also increase your protein consumption. The best part? It will also protect your joints, promote healthy bone development, increase muscle mass, and even result in thicker hair and nails.

Established in 1922, Great Lakes Wellness, aka Great Lakes Gelatin Company, has almost 100 years of experience, AND an impeccable record for safety and quality. They’ve been a family-run business from the beginning, and have worked to maintain honest family values throughout their operation.

The consumer and commercial demand for high quality gelatin has been historically used as an ingredient in products such as gelatin desserts and supplement capsules. The market began to shift in the late 1980’s as pure collagen protein gelatin became an important supplement. Through research into the health benefits of collagen, Great Lakes pioneered the ‘original’ Collagen Hydrolysate. Consumers have been using Collagen Hydrolysate for its helpful benefits related to healthy hair, skin and nails, reduction in joint pain, improved sleep and digestion, and many other benefits for aging and beauty.*

Have you heard of Collagen Hydrolysate? The efforts of Great Lakes company president led to a product that is cold liquid soluble – no clumping or congealing – so customers can enjoy the benefits in their favorite cold beverages too! Add some collagen to your cold or warm drinks, smoothies, cereals, oatmeal – it can be added to any foods you regularly enjoy!

Great Lakes Wellness stands behind the quality of their products. Every batch of raw material is tested before it enters their facilities. Their unflavored products are nearly tasteless and odorless – making them a perfect neutral, low-calorie protein supplement.
