The primary ingredient in this delicious syrup is elderberry. Elderberry has a long, rich history of use throughout the world, from Native Americans to Ancient Egyptians, as a winter remedy for the immune system. Elderberries are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help the body combat infection, ease symptoms of infection, reduce inflammation, and support quick recovery times.
But this elderberry syrup for kids contains more than just the powerful supportive benefits of elderberry. It also contains other plant extracts that, combined, create a powerhouse of immune-boosting properties!
- Echinacea Flower Extract: You may know this herb by its common name, Purple Coneflower. When harvested in their early developmental phase, the bright purple-pink flowers contain Arabinogalactin Proteins and Polysaccharides. These chemicals support ongoing immune function and are excellent for long term use in supporting the immune system.*
- Echinacea Root Extract: The roots of the Echinacea plant contain beneficial properties as well! The roots of Echinacea are harvested in the fall. These roots contain large amounts of Alkylamides and support a healthy inflammatory response in the sinuses. Root extracts are not for long-term use.*
- Propolis: Bees produce more than just honey — they also make propolis, a nutrient-rich compound that has been used in medicine for thousands of years. Propolis is rich in polyphenols, which are antioxidants that help fight disease and oxidative damage in the body. It helps the body ease inflammation and speed healing.*

For Daily Maintenance
- Children 1-6 Years of Age: Take 1 teaspoon (tsp) (5 mL) daily.
- Children 7-12 Years of Age: Take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) daily.
For Intensive Use
- Children 1-6 Years of Age: Take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 mL) twice daily.
- Children 7-12 Years of Age: Take 2-3 teaspoons (10-15 mL) twice daily.
