Oregon’s Wild Harvest Tranquil Child

Oregon’s Wild Harvest Tranquil Child is a proprietary blend of three organic herbs that have been used traditionally as herbs for calming and mood support. Herbs have a long history of traditional use that dates back thousands of years. They provide gentle support, and can be used to address a variety of needs.*

Tranquil Child is an alcohol-free extract, or glycerite. Herbal tinctures are often made with an alcohol base, but glycerites are good alternative for children, and others that desire a slightly sweet non-alcohol herbal extract. While glycerites may not be quite as potent as alcohol-based tinctures, they are still very effective and much easier to get your children to use.

  • Chamomile: This herb has been in use for thousands of years and is highly regarded for its sedative effects. You’ve probably heard of it being used as a bedtime tea to ease tension and support deep and restful sleep.*
  • Passion Flower:  This traditional herb is credited to the Native Americans. They used it to treat restlessness or hysteria. It was introduced to American settlers and they whole- heartedly embraced it for its gentle relaxing effect.*
  • Catnip:  Most of us have heard of the attraction cats have to this herb. Fortunately people don’t respond to catnip in the same way as our feline friends! This calming herb has natural soothing properties and is great for helping kids relax. As an added benefit this herb is also known to improve digestion and relieve insomnia.*

Suggested Use: Take 1 mL up to three times daily in warm water or juice or as directed by your healthcare professional. 1 mL = approx. 30 drops. Formulated for children 2-12 years. Not for use in infants.
