Plant Therapy Jasmine Essential Oil (Absolute)

Jasmine essential oil is extracted from the jasmine flower —  a flower that holds its place among the best-loved flowers for centuries. Jasmine is known for its incredibly distinctive, exotic, floral aroma. It is associated with love, romance, femininity, and allure. It’s a primary ingredient in perfumery, thanks to its ability to increase feelings of love, romance, and connection. It also elevates the mood and promotes a glowing outlook.

But Jasmine Essential Oil actually has a lot more to offer than simply a glorious fragrance you can’t get enough of — it actually offers a variety of health supportive benefits!*

  • Botanical Name: Jasminum sambac
  • Aromatic Scent: Intense oily-fruity, waxy floral scent
  • Strength of Aroma: Strong
  • Country of Origin: India
  • Extraction Method: Solvent extraction
  • Plant Part: Flowers
  • Kid Safe: Yes

In aromatherapy, jasmine essential oil helps relieve depression and lethargy. It stimulates the production of serotonin to help balance the emotions, boost your energy, and uplift your mood. It also helps to boost libido.*

But it’s aromatherapy properties aren’t confined to emotions. When diffused, jasmine essential oil can help to reduce coughing by helping to clear congestion from the respiratory tracts. It also helps to treat muscle spasms related to coughing, cramps, congestion, asthma, and even intestinal cramping and discomfort.*

Speaking of sleep, jasmine essential oil also helps to induce deep rest. It provides a mildly sedative effect that allows the body to relax and rest. If you’re struggling with insomnia related to anxiety, jasmine may be just the essential oil you need to finally get a good night’s sleep.*

Topically, Jasmine Essential Oil can help ease dry, brittle, dehydrated skin. Due to its fantastic skin rejuvenating properties, Jasmine makes a wonderful addition to body creams and lotions at a 1-2% dilution. It also helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.*
