Plant Therapy Organic Lavender Fine Essential Oil

Plant Therapy Organic Lavender Fine Essential Oil is steam distilled from a high-altitude plant variety found in the mountains of France and Spain. These hardy lavender plants have a short growing season in a rugged, harsh climate. These specialized conditions produce a potent essential oil with a particularly robust, complex aroma.

Lavender Fine Essential Oil, like all other lavender essential oils, is one of the best known and most loved herbs and essential oils. It has been used in traditional and alternative medicine for centuries, and can be found in food and body care products across the world.

  • Botanical Name: Lavandula angustifolia
  • Aromatic Scent: Refined, complex, herbaceous-floral scent than other Lavenders
  • Strength of Aroma: Strong
  • Country of Origin: France, Spain
  • Extraction Method: Steam distilled
  • Plant Part: Flowering Tops
  • Kid Safe: Yes

In aromatherapy, Lavender Fine Essential Oil has a deeply relaxing, grounding effect. It soothes frazzled nerves and anxiety, and promotes a feeling of peace and calm. If you’ve got a busy career, lifestyle, or household, Lavender Fine Essential Oil will be a powerful aid in helping your mind stay clear and focused even in the midst of chaos. Diffusion or wafting the aroma as needed can also reduce nausea.

Like other Lavender Essential Oils, Lavender Fine Essential Oil offers a variety of skin-soothing and age-drying properties. When diluted (2-5% with a carrier oil), it can be used to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections, such as fine lines, dark spots, stretch marks and scars. It can even encourage hair growth!

For minor wounds, lavender essential will also help speed healing of minor skin abrasions and irritations, such as bug bites, minor cuts and scrapes, and mild burns. If you’ve been exposed to too much sun, soothe the skin with a cooling application of diluted lavender essential oil for relief and quick healing.

Have a fungal infection? Lavender essential oil can help you naturally combat it. Applying diluted lavender essential oil to the temple or back of the neck can also help to ease tension headaches and sore muscles.

How Does Organic Lavender Fine Essential Oil Differ from Other Lavender Essential Oils?

Most of the therapeutic benefits of all Lavender Essential Oils are the same, or very similar. Where organic lavender fine essential oil stands out from the rest is in the fragrance.

This essential oil offers a stronger aroma than other lavender essential oils. Because it is steam-distilled from high-altitude plant varieties with a short growing season and in more harsh conditions, the scent produced is more refined and complex. Because of this, Lavender Fine Essential Oil is the gold standard for aromatherapy uses.
