Qet Botanicals Balancing Cleansing Oil With Thyme

The first thing that comes to mind when you have acne-prone skin is likely not an oil-based cleanser — but this cleansing oil from Qēt Botanicals is designed to help and heal exactly this skin type! Fatty omega acids restore damaged skin, vitamins provide nourishment, and plant oils provide bacteria-cleansing power. Together, this harmonious blend will provide deep-healing and balance for the pH of your overwhelmed and inflamed skin.

This cleansing oil sinks deep into your pores to remove oil and impurities, helps balance and heal with plant actives, and doesn’t strip the skin’s natural barrier. This cleansing oil balances the skin and helps to maintain the proper level of moisture without drying it out.

What’s left behind? A fresh feeling of clean, hydrated skin!

Here’s Qēt’s pristine lineup of nourishing ingredients in their award-winning cleansing oil for acne and inflamed skin:

  • Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil: What doesn’t this unique ingredient offer? It balances the skin, contains anti-inflammatory agents, and restores skin surface. Fatty acids encourage the skin to heal itself and strengthen elasticity. Mild analgesic properties relieve itchy, sore, and rashy areas of the skin.
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil: A primary ingredient in skincare products since the ancients, extra virgin olive oil contains antioxidants to fight aging and vitamins to provide nourishment. It aids everything from acne therapy to anti-aging as it gently lifts away impurities, makeup, and more.
  • Castor Oil: Packed with anti-inflammatory properties to ease irritation and redness, castor oil is a powerhouse when it comes to deep cleansing and healing.
  • Flower actives of thyme, lavender, and geranium: In this particular cleansing oil, thyme plays a vital role. It works to destroy the bacteria within the skin responsible for acne and blemishes. Lavender and geranium help to heal, cleanse, and soothe.

Brighten your complexion and smooth your skin! This unique cleanser is perfect for skin that can be unpredictable with a bit of activity, redness, or acne, rashes, and uneven coloration.

Suggested Use: Shake the bottle before use and place a small amount in the palm of your hand. Massage gently into the skin as much as necessary to remove makeup, dirt, and oils. To remove, moisten a washcloth with warm water and press to your skin. Makeup, oil, impurities, sunscreen, and more will be whisked away without over-drying or stripping the skin.

If you’re also exfoliating, add the exfoliator directly over the cleansing oil before removing in the same matter. We suggest those with acne-prone skin cleanse morning and evening. This cleansing oil for oily skin may be used to remove eye makeup, but choosing Qēt’s Supple Eye Makeup Remover is suggested as this will be slightly more gentle to the delicate tissues around the eyes.

Qet (“keet”) Botanicals is a family-owned, Wisconsin company which offers freshly-made and hand-crafted face, hair, and body products made from organic, sustainable, and wild-crafted botanical ingredients.

Company founder, Lisa Brill, developed this line of premium products after experiencing health problems that necessitated removal of conventional beauty products. She discovered that many “natural” products contain small amounts of synthetic, and often harmful, ingredients. Lisa needed safe products that would not interfere with hormones or add to changing thyroid levels, and address changes in health and skin that were beginning to show both internally and externally. Research, careful application and blending soon led to treatments that almost immediately made changes in her skin, hair and overall health – all for the better! Lisa knew that she could never go back to the mass-produced and stale ingredients found on most store shelves. And she knew it was something she had to share with others. Qet Botanicals was born.

Qet formulates all of their own original products, manufactures them, fills and labels their packaging. They’ve promised to disclose EVERY INGREDIENT that goes into their formulations, and all of their products are rated in the safest category with the lowest hazard levels in the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep database.

Every product that Qet manufactures is made without the use of toxins, synthetics, or even a single drop of harmful chemicals or preservatives.
