If you desire glowing skin that’s more clear and supple, look no further than this powerful green powder! Not only is this herbal exfoliant great for solving rash or acne woes, but its high antioxidant profile is highly nourishing. It balances, moisturizes, and protects your skin from sun damage and harmful free radicals that lead to signs of premature aging.

The hand-selected herbal and mineral properties found within this reviving and aromatic herbal exfoliant are some of nature’s finest when it comes to promoting healthy, clear skin.

  • Fine Himalayan pink salt is one of the purest, hand-mined salts from the ancient seas. It helps heal skin irritations and scarring while nourishing and replenishing minerals to your skin.
  • Ground thyme leaves break down acne-causing bacteria and promote your skin’s natural healing. It protects your skin’s natural oil balance and prevents flare-ups caused by dryness.
  • Matcha green tea contains a high level of antioxidants that help reduce acne and increase skin elasticity.
  • Organic raw cane sugar is a natural alpha hydroxy acid that can balance uneven skin tone and promote clear skin.

Your complexion will thank you for not forgetting the important step of lightly exfoliating every day, between cleansing and protecting! When the Balancing Herbal Exfoliant with Tea & Thyme is applied, dull skin is removed, allowing fresh, vibrant skin to flourish for a renewed look and nourished feel.

A gentle exfoliator is just as important as a good cleanser and this herbal exfoliant is a perfect choice for a lighter, softer, and surface exfoliation. We recommend rotating between Qēt’s deeper clay-based exfoliants and lighter herbal exfoliants as needed!

How to Choose Your Exfoliant — Herbal or Clay?

Wondering what the difference is between the herbal and clay exfoliants? Let’s take a look:

First, how are they the same?

Both herbal and clay exfoliants provide soothing, softening, and hydrating benefits to your overall skin-cleansing experience. They do this with gentleness, clearing out dead skin cells to let your renewed face shine.

Okay, so how are they different?

Herbal and clay exfoliants differ in how far they pass the skin’s surface.

For a lighter, surface cleansing, the herbal exfoliants perform perfectly. The herbal exfoliants contain a premium Himalayan salt powder that feeds the skin with over eighty minerals while creating a gentle balance.

For deeper action, the clay exfoliants are great. The mineral clay soaks and literally drinks up stuck toxins and impurities.

How to choose?

If you’re looking for a more gentle surface cleanse, then the herbal exfoliants are for you.

If you are currently dealing with a complex skin condition, or hard-to-reach impurities, the clay exfoliants may be a better fit.

Qēt advises that you keep both on hand, alternating between the two options. That way, you’re covered for when or if your skin condition changes. Of course, alternating between both ensures your skin will receive the unique benefits each exfoliant has to offer!

Suggested Use:

Step 1 (Prepare). After cleansing, add a small portion of the herbal exfoliant to your palm or a mask bowl. Then, add a small amount of cleansing oil to create a paste.

Step 2 (Apply). Gently apply the mixture to your face and surrounding skin, moving your hands in small circular patterns. No need to scrub, simply let the herbs do their magic! Take extra care around any open sores and blemishes until they’ve healed.

Optional. You have the option to immediately rinse off the exfoliant or allow it to dry and rest on your skin for a moment or two. In fact, feel free to leave it on for up to three minutes! Doing so will only carry in more goodness from the botanicals and herbs, softening your skin and lightly continuing the exfoliation process.

Step 3 (Steam rinse). Press a warm, moist washcloth onto your skin, allowing your pores to open up and absorb the healing elements of the herbal exfoliant. Take this moment to breathe and relax. It’s go thyme for smooth, healthy skin!

Herbal exfoliants work best with daily use, and once a day is perfect for giving your skin the balance it needs. This is an especially great self-care step to end the day with! Follow the herbal exfoliation with toning, preparing and hydrating your skin for long-lasting balance and benefit.

Qet (“keet”) Botanicals is a family-owned, Wisconsin company which offers freshly-made and hand-crafted face, hair, and body products made from organic, sustainable, and wild-crafted botanical ingredients.

Company founder, Lisa Brill, developed this line of premium products after experiencing health problems that necessitated removal of conventional beauty products. She discovered that many “natural” products contain small amounts of synthetic, and often harmful, ingredients. Lisa needed safe products that would not interfere with hormones or add to changing thyroid levels, and address changes in health and skin that were beginning to show both internally and externally. Research, careful application and blending soon led to treatments that almost immediately made changes in her skin, hair and overall health – all for the better! Lisa knew that she could never go back to the mass-produced and stale ingredients found on most store shelves. And she knew it was something she had to share with others. Qet Botanicals was born.

Qet formulates all of their own original products, manufactures them, fills and labels their packaging. They’ve promised to disclose EVERY INGREDIENT that goes into their formulations, and all of their products are rated in the safest category with the lowest hazard levels in the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep database.

Every product that Qet manufactures is made without the use of toxins, synthetics, or even a single drop of harmful chemicals or preservatives.
