Quality Of Life VitaPQQ
This award-winning PQQ supplement developed by Quality of Life, VitaPQQ®, features a patented form of PQQ, MicroPQQ®. It is designed to be easily absorbed and utilized by the body.
PQQ, or pyrroloquinoline quinine, is the first new vitamin discovered since 1948. PQQ offers special support for the mitochondria. (It’s been a while since science class — mitochondria are tiny structures within cells that produce energy. They are essentially responsible for ‘powering’ life.) No other of the 13 known vitamins provide support for mitochondria.
In vivo and clinical research shows PQQ protects existing mitochondria from damage and promotes mitochondrial biogenesis (i.e. the production of new mitochondria).* Scientific research suggests that it is this mitochondrial damage that is one of the primary causes of aging. What’s the difference between CoQ10 and PQQ? Both CoQ10 and PQQ play roles when it comes to producing energy, and both directly impact the cells. PQQ, however, is a nutrient that actively works to protect and promote mitochondria, while CoQ10 is present within the cell itself and aids in the mitochondrial production of energy.
