Native to Australia, tea tree oil has been used as a traditional medicine by Aborigines for centuries. These native Australians crush tea tree leaves to extract the oil, which is then inhaled to treat coughs and colds or applied directly to the skin for healing.
Today, tea tree oil is widely available as a 100% undiluted essential oil. Tea tree oil contains a number of compounds, including terpinen-4-ol, that have been shown to kill certain bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Terpinen-4-ol has also been shown to increase the activity of your white blood cells, boosting your immune system. These germ-fighting properties make tea tree oil a valued natural support for fighting off bacterial and fungal skin conditions, preventing infection. and promoting healing.

Suggested Use: Use topically or in a diffuser. Diffuse Organic Tea Tree Essential Oil to help clean the air, combat mustiness, and for immune and respiratory support. Dilute to 5% in witch hazel to treat skin blemishes and acne spots.For an all-natural surface cleaner, dilute Organic Tea Tree to 2% with vinegar.
Skin-Soothing Salve Recipe
Create a skin-soothing salve by blending 9 drops of Organic Tea Tree, Organic Lavender, and 9 drops of Organic Lemon with 2 tbsp of your favorite Plant Therapy carrier oil.
Cautions: Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, consult your doctor before use. We do not recommend the ingestion of essential oils.
