Suggested Use: Adults (12 and over): Take 10 mL (mark on cap) twice daily. Children (4 – 11 years old): Take 10 mL (mark on cap) once daily. Do not contaminate the formula by drinking directly from the bottle. To preserve the product and prevent its fermentation, keep refrigerated at all times after opening and consume it within four weeks. Liquid iron may in some instances cause surface staining to teeth. Rinse mouth with water, or brush teeth immediately after consuming.

FAQs About Floradix® Iron + Herbs Liquid Herbal Supplement

Q: Does Floradix help with low iron and tiredness? A: Yes, that's the main reason people take it. Each 10 mL gives you 10 mg of iron as ferrous gluconate, plus B vitamins like B12 at 6.75 mcg and riboflavin at 3.6 mg, so people often use it when low iron is part of why they feel run down.

Q: How much should I take per day? A: Adults take 10 mL twice a day. Kids ages 4 to 11 take 10 mL once a day. I'd use the cap to measure it.

Q: Why does this one have herbs in it? A: They're part of the 6 gram herbal blend in each serving. It includes stinging nettle, spinach, fennel, kelp, hibiscus, rose hip, and wheat germ extract. That's just how this formula is made—they're traditionally paired with the iron.

Q: Should I keep Floradix in the fridge? A: Yes. Once you open it, keep it in the fridge the whole time. Finish it within 4 weeks, and don't drink straight from the bottle or it can spoil faster.

Q: I've heard liquid iron can stain teeth. Is that true with this one? A: Yeah, it can happen. I'd rinse your mouth with water right after, or brush your teeth after taking it.

Q: Does Floradix cause constipation like iron pills sometimes do? A: Usually less often for a lot of people. This one uses liquid ferrous gluconate instead of a big iron tablet, and a lot of people find it gentler, but people can still react differently.

Q: My doctor said to be careful with iron supplements. Are there any concerns with this one? A: Yes, iron isn't something to take blindly if you don't need it. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you're on medications. If you're pregnant or nursing, talk to your OB or midwife before starting this one.
