FAQs About MegaFood Kids One Daily Tablets
Q: Should I give this to my child every day or just on school days? A: Every day is best. It’s meant to be a once-daily multivitamin for kids 5 and up, so the usual routine is 1 tablet a day.
Q: Does it have to be taken with food? A: No. You can give 1 tablet with a drink any time of day, even on an empty stomach.
Q: Why does this one use cyanocobalamin for B12 instead of methylcobalamin? A: This formula uses cyanocobalamin for B12. For most kids, that’s totally fine in a multivitamin. If you specifically want methylcobalamin, you’d need a different product.
Q: I've heard biotin can mess with lab work. Is that true with this one? A: Yes, it can. This formula has biotin, and biotin can affect some lab tests, so let your pediatrician know before any bloodwork.
Q: Does this cover the basic vitamins kids usually need? A: Yes. It includes vitamins A, C, D3, E, and K, the full B-vitamin group, plus minerals like iodine, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, and chromium.
Q: My doctor said to be careful with vitamin K. Should I avoid this one? A: Maybe. It has vitamin K as phytonadione, so if your child takes a blood thinner or has been told to limit vitamin K, check with the doctor or pharmacist first.
Q: Is this okay for younger kids, like toddlers? A: Not for toddlers. MegaFood recommends it for kids age 5 and up.
