Q: Does this one actually have collagen in it? A: Yes. Each 2-capsule serving has 500 mg of BioCell Collagen®, including 300 mg hydrolyzed collagen, 100 mg chondroitin sulfate, and 50 mg hyaluronic acid.

Q: How do I take it? A: Take 2 capsules a day with food. I’d take them with breakfast or lunch so they’re easier on your stomach.

Q: Why does it have so much biotin? A: It’s meant for hair, skin, and nails, and this formula gives you 6,000 mcg per serving. One thing to know: biotin can affect certain lab tests, so leave at least 8 hours between taking it and getting bloodwork done.

Q: I've heard zinc can upset your stomach. Is that a concern here? A: It can be for some people. This one has 30 mg of zinc as zinc citrate, so I’d take it with a meal, not on an empty stomach.

Q: Is this vegetarian? A: Not really. The capsule is vegetarian cellulose, but the BioCell Collagen® comes from chicken sternal cartilage.

Q: Should I take this if I'm pregnant or nursing? A: I’d check with your OB or midwife before starting this one. It has high-dose biotin, plus PABA, CoQ10, and grape seed extract, so I’d want your provider to weigh in.

Q: My doctor said to watch supplement interactions. Anything here I should be careful with? A: A couple things. Biotin can interfere with blood tests. And if you’re on medications, I’d double-check with your pharmacist since this formula also has 60 mg of CoQ10 and 140 mg of grape seed extract.
