Q: What does this one help with? A: It’s mainly for immune and upper respiratory support.* Each serving gives you vitamin C 250 mg, vitamin D3 1,000 IU, zinc 7.5 mg, and NAC 450 mg, plus elderberry and EpiCor for antioxidant and immune support.*

Q: How should I take PureDefense w/NAC? A: Take 2 capsules twice a day with meals. That’s 4 capsules a day total, giving you 500 mg vitamin C, 2,000 IU vitamin D3, 15 mg zinc, and 900 mg NAC.

Q: Does this have NAC, and why is that in there? A: Yes, 450 mg per 2-capsule serving. NAC is commonly used to support glutathione and antioxidant defenses,* and some people also take it to support healthy upper respiratory mucus clearance.*

Q: I've heard quercetin and elderberry are good for immune health. How much is in this? A: This one has 200 mg of elderberry extract and 25 mg of quercetin per 2-capsule serving. They’re paired with vitamin C, zinc, and EpiCor, so it’s more of a combo formula than a stand-alone elderberry product.

Q: Is there anything I should be careful with before taking it? A: Yes. If you’re immunocompromised, check with your doctor first because this formula includes EpiCor, and the label caution says probiotics may be contraindicated for immunocompromised individuals. Also talk with your doctor if you’re pregnant, nursing, or taking medications.
