Cautions: Keep out of the reach of children. Consult a physician before taking this product if you are pregnant, nursing, taking any medications, or have a medical condition. Vitamin C can cause diarrhea in some individuals in large doses, which can vary from person to person and resolves when the amount is reduced. Gas, bloating, or diarrhea may occur in some individuals taking magnesium supplements. This can occur at varying amounts depending on the individual and resolves when the amount is reduced.
5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) supplementation is not recommended concurrent with methotrexate cancer therapy, as it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, this folate source has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate. As vitamin K interferes with the effect of anticoagulant drugs (like Coumadin), the concurrent use of these agents should be avoided.
Allergy Warning: This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Iodine may occasionally cause an allergic reaction in some individuals.

FAQs About Thorne Research Advanced Nutrients Multi Vitamin Capsules
Q: Who is this multi best for? A: This is a better fit for someone who wants more than a basic one-a-day. A full serving is 8 capsules, and the doses are on the higher side: vitamin C is 850 mg, vitamin D3 is 2,000 IU, and methylcobalamin B12 is 450 mcg. It also has extras like quercetin phytosome and resveratrol.
Q: How many capsules should I take per day? A: If you're new to it, I'd start with 4 capsules a day and go up if needed. A full serving is 8 capsules daily. I'd take them with meals instead of all at once.
Q: Does it have methylfolate and methyl B12, or just the basic forms? A: Yes. It uses L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate for folate and methylcobalamin for B12. That's a good match for people who want the active forms instead of folic acid and cyanocobalamin.
Q: Why does this one have so much vitamin C and pantothenic acid? A: Because it's a high-potency formula. A full serving gives you 850 mg of vitamin C and 450 mg of pantothenic acid. Some people do fine with that, others do better starting lower.
Q: Will this upset my stomach? A: It might. Vitamin C can loosen stools in some people, and the 250 mg of magnesium may cause gas, bloating, or diarrhea. Taking it with food and splitting the dose usually helps.
Q: My doctor said to watch vitamin K. Should I avoid this one? A: Maybe. A full serving has 100 mcg of vitamin K, split between K1 and K2 MK-7. If you're on warfarin or another blood thinner, check with your doctor or pharmacist before using it.
Q: Does it have anything in it for eye and healthy aging support? A: Yes, that's one reason people pick it. Along with the vitamins and minerals, it has bilberry extract at 80 mg, mixed carotenoids at 4 mg, quercetin phytosome at 100 mg, nicotinamide riboside at 45 mg, and trans-resveratrol at 25 mg.
