Terry Naturally makes two curcumin products with names so similar that people mix them up at the shelf, on our website, and over the phone: CuraMed and Curamin. The boxes look alike, both list curcumin first in the marketing, and both are best-sellers. They are not the same product, and they're not meant for the same job.

The short answer
CuraMed is one ingredient done thoroughly: a high-absorption curcumin extract you take once a day for whole-body support: antioxidant protection, joint comfort with everyday activity, and cardiovascular health.*
Curamin is a four-ingredient formula with a narrower aim: occasional muscle discomfort after exercise or overuse.* It contains the same curcumin extract as CuraMed, then adds three more ingredients around it.
If you want a curcumin supplement to take every day as part of your routine, that's CuraMed. If you're reaching for something on the days your body has been worked hard, that's Curamin.
What is CuraMed?
CuraMed is curcumin — the deep-orange compound extracted from turmeric root — in a form built for absorption. Plain curcumin is famously hard for the body to take up; most of a standard capsule passes through without being absorbed. CuraMed uses BCM-95® (also called Curcugreen®), which blends the curcumin back with turmeric's own essential oil. That pairing has been the subject of published absorption research and is the reason one softgel can deliver what larger amounts of plain turmeric powder can't.
Each softgel provides 750 mg of the extract, standardized to the full curcuminoid complex (curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin). The label use is simple: one softgel a day. People take it the way they take an omega-3: a foundational daily supplement for antioxidant support, cardiovascular health, and joint comfort.*
What is Curamin?
Curamin starts with the same BCM-95® curcumin and builds a formula around it:
- DLPA (DL-phenylalanine) — an amino acid included to complement the botanicals in the blend.
- Boswellia extract (BOS-10®) — a resin from the Boswellia serrata tree, standardized to at least 70% boswellic acids including the most-studied one, AKBA. Terry Naturally's version is screened to keep beta-boswellic acid low.
- Nattokinase — an enzyme that comes from fermented soybeans. (This is why the label carries a trace-soy notice, at under five parts per million.)
The intended job is different from CuraMed's: Curamin is positioned for occasional muscle discomfort following exercise or overuse. Think the day after you moved furniture or overdid it in the garden.* The serving is three vegetarian capsules a day, which you can spread out as one capsule three times daily.

Which one do you need?
You want one supplement to take daily, indefinitely. CuraMed. A single softgel covers the foundational reasons people take curcumin in the first place, and at roughly 85 cents a day it's the more economical way to take this extract long-term.*
Your issue is the day after a hard workout or a long day of yard work. Curamin. The formula exists for exactly this, and the three-capsule serving gives you room to use it as needed rather than on a schedule.*
You're not sure. Start with CuraMed. It's the simpler product, the lower daily cost, and the one whose everyday-support role fits the most people. You can always add Curamin later for the heavy days — which brings us to the next question.
Can you take CuraMed and Curamin together?
Yes. They're made by the same company, and plenty of people pair them: CuraMed daily, Curamin on demanding days. Keep two things in mind. Both products contain the same curcumin extract, so if you take them on the same day you're getting curcumin from both; stay with the label serving of each rather than doubling up further. And as with any supplement, check with your physician first if you're pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or managing a medical condition — that's printed on both labels for good reason.
How to take either one
Curcumin is fat-soluble, so take your softgel or capsules with a meal that contains some fat — breakfast with eggs or a lunch with olive oil beats black coffee and toast. Consistency matters more than clock time: pick the meal you never skip and anchor the habit there. Give a new curcumin supplement several weeks of steady use before you judge what it's doing for you. And when you're choosing, come back to the one question that actually separates these two: do you want daily support, or day-after support? The names are nearly identical. The jobs aren't.
