Q: Does this work like a chewable antacid for occasional heartburn? A: Yes. It has 1,000 mg of calcium carbonate per 2 chewables, which is the same kind of ingredient people usually look for in an antacid. It's for occasional heartburn after meals.
Q: How many tablets should I take when I need it? A: Chew 1 or 2 tablets after a meal. Don't take more than 6 tablets in a day.
Q: Why does it have magnesium in it too? A: It has a small amount, 20 mg per 2 chewables as magnesium citrate. The main ingredient is still calcium carbonate. The magnesium is just a little extra mineral support.
