What 4X concentrate means
Four times the strength of standard aloe vera juice, so you drink correspondingly less of it. Thirty-two fluid ounces of concentrate goes a lot further than thirty-two ounces of regular juice, which is worth factoring in when you compare the price against a cheaper bottle.
Check the label for the dilution ratio and follow it. Drinking concentrate as though it were ready-to-drink juice is the usual mistake, and it's an unpleasant one.
Processed without heat
Pharm-Aloe processes the leaf juice without heat. Aloe's more delicate constituents don't survive high temperature processing well, so this matters if you're choosing between brands on anything other than price.
Taste, honestly
Aloe is bitter. Concentrated aloe is more so. Most people mix it into juice rather than water for that reason, and it disappears reasonably well into something citrus. Anyone telling you it's pleasant neat is being generous.
