Q: Does this have all the essential amino acids? A: No. It has 8 essential amino acids at 75 mg each: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, and valine.

Q: Should I take this with protein powder or instead of protein? A: I'd think of it differently than protein powder. This gives you small amounts of specific amino acids—75 mg each per capsule—not grams of protein like you'd get in a shake.
