Sundance Botanicals ElderPower Elderberry Syrup
ElderPower® elderberry syrup is lovingly handcrafted in La Porte, Indiana. Each batch is lab-tested for purity and potency, and every drop of ElderPower elderberry syrup is made with premium USDA certified organic ingredients and locally sourced raw honey.
Elderberries contain plant compounds that are brimming with benefits. They rank as one of the highest food sources of antioxidants available. The USDA database estimates that elderberries exceed blueberries in Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) values by 315%!
Beneficial flavonoids such as quercetin and anthocyanin increase cytokine production and offer antioxidant properties that help to reduce cell damage and the number of free radicals.
Cytokines are a small protein released by cells as ‘messengers’ and support the interaction between individual cells. Cytokines play a key role in preventing viruses from crossing the cell membrane. (Please note, if you’re suffering ACUTE symptoms related to COVID or respiratory illness, you should stop taking elderberry and consult your physician. Elderberry is a great choice for daily immune-boosting or at the initial onset of disease, but it is not a medical cure.)
Elderberries also contain a compound called antivirin. This substance helps to inhibit the replication of viruses! Elderberries have been clinically proven to be helpful and effective on over 10 flu strains, including the swine and avian flu.
The History of Elderberries
Elderberries are a tiny, dark purple berry that grows in luxurious clusters on the flowering elder tree. It is native to Europe and North America, where it has been used for centuries as a natural, therapeutic herbal medicine thanks to its immune boosting properties.
How long has elderberry been in use? In 400BC Hippocrates called this ancient herb his ‘medicine chest’. References to the healing properties of elderberry can be traced all the way back to ancient Egypt, who would buy a tincture of elderberry with their dead. The Greek Army utilized its medicinal properties during battles.
These days, elderberry continues to be studied and revered for its whole-plant, healing compounds. It has been proven to be beneficial for strengthening the immune system and support for serious infections including HIV/AIDS, viral encephalitis, and meningitis trials.

Suggested Dosages by Age: Refrigerate. Shake well before use.
For acute immune support, you can increase these amounts. At the first sign of illness, take the suggested dose for your age category every 2-3 hours, as tolerated, for up to 5 days.
As with all supplements, we recommend that you start small and slowly increase your dosages according to individual tolerance. We recommend pouring your ElderPower into a small cup, rather than using a spoon. You may also mix it with water, juice, sparkling water, smoothies, or other beverages — not that you need to! It’s tasty enough to take on its own!
Cautions: Not intended for children under 1 year of age due to the honey content.
