Nature’s Way Sambucus Kids Syrup
If you’re looking for an immune-boosting supplement to help keep your kids feeling their best all winter long, you’ve just found it. Sambucus Elderberry Syrup for Kids contains a robust, proprietary blend of immune-supporting nutrients made just for your little ones.
The primary ingredient in this delicious syrup is elderberry. Elderberry has a long, rich history of use throughout the world, from Native Americans to Ancient Egyptians, as a winter remedy for the immune system. Elderberries are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help support immune function* and the body’s healthy inflammatory response,* while promoting everyday wellness and normal recovery.*
But this elderberry syrup for kids contains more than just the supportive benefits of elderberry. It also contains other plant extracts that, together, make for a seriously well-rounded immune formula!
Echinacea Flower Extract: You may know this herb by its common name, Purple Coneflower. When harvested in their early developmental phase, the bright purple-pink flowers contain Arabinogalactin Proteins and Polysaccharides. These compounds help with ongoing immune function* and are a solid option for long term immune support.*
Echinacea Root Extract: The roots of the Echinacea plant contain beneficial properties as well! The roots of Echinacea are harvested in the fall. These roots contain large amounts of Alkylamides and may help maintain a healthy inflammatory response in the sinuses.* Root extracts are not for long-term use.*
Propolis: Bees produce more than just honey — they also make propolis, a nutrient-rich compound that has been used for thousands of years. Propolis is rich in polyphenols, which provide antioxidant support* and help protect against oxidative stress in the body.* It also plays a role in the body’s healthy inflammatory response* and normal recovery processes.*
Black Elderberry Extract: Ongoing studies, along with a rich history in traditional use, highlight elderberry extracts for immune support during seasonal challenges.* It’s particularly helpful for supporting sinus comfort* and overall wellness when the seasons shift.*

FAQs About Nature's Way Sambucus Kids Syrup - Final Sale
Q: Does this syrup have much elderberry in it? A: Yes. Each teaspoon has 25 mg of black elder extract, standardized to BioActives®, which comes from 1.6 grams of elderberries per teaspoon.
Q: How much should I give my child per day? A: For daily use, kids ages 1 to 6 take 1 teaspoon once a day. Ages 7 to 12 take 2 teaspoons a day. If you're using it more intensively, the bottle lists a higher twice-daily amount by age.
Q: Should I give it with food or on an empty stomach? A: Either is usually fine. I'd shake it well and give it whichever way your child handles best.
Q: My doctor said to watch sugar. Does this one have added sugar? A: Yes. It has 3 grams of added sugar per teaspoon, and it uses fructose along with glycerin and natural flavor.
Q: Is there anything I should be careful with before using it? A: Yes. I wouldn't use this for a child with an autoimmune condition unless their practitioner says it's okay. And if they have plant allergies, I'd be careful and check the full ingredient details first.
Q: I've heard elderberry can shorten how long kids feel sick. Is that what this is for? A: People mostly buy elderberry for immune support. A lot of parents keep this one around for everyday use or for times when something starts going around.
