FAQs About Plant Therapy Tummy All Better KidSafe Essential Oil

Q: Does this help with nausea or a crampy stomach? A: Many parents pick it for digestive comfort when a child’s tummy feels unsettled*. The blend has ginger, spearmint, dill, petitgrain, and Roman chamomile, and parents often roll it on when their child needs help with occasional tummy discomfort*.

Q: Should I get the regular 10 mL bottle or the pre-diluted roll-on? A: For kids, I'd usually go with the roll-on unless you already dilute oils at home. It's pre-diluted to 3% in fractionated coconut oil, so it's ready to use on the belly.

Q: How do I use it on my child? A: Roll it on the belly and massage gently in a clockwise motion. If you get the plain 10 mL bottle, dilute it to 1 to 3% in a carrier oil first, then put it on the abdomen or the tops of the feet.

Q: I've heard you can smell it instead of putting it on. Is that true? A: Yes. You can smell it straight from the bottle if the stomach feels off, or put 10 drops in a personal aromatherapy inhaler.

Q: Why does this one have spearmint instead of peppermint? A: Spearmint is usually a gentler choice for kids. Plant Therapy made this KidSafe for ages 2 to 10, and spearmint tends to be a better fit in children's blends than peppermint.

Q: Is there anything I should be careful with before using it? A: Yes. Keep it away from the eyes, don't put the undiluted 10 mL bottle straight on skin, and stop if your child gets any irritation. If your child has ongoing vomiting, bad belly pain, or a medical condition, I'd check with your pediatrician.
