FAQs About MaryRuth Liquid Morning Multivitamin - Raspberry

Q: Does this multivitamin work for both kids and adults? A: Yes, that's what it's made for. The dose depends on age: 1/2 teaspoon for ages 1 to 3, 1 tablespoon for ages 4 to 13, and 2 tablespoons for ages 14 and up.

Q: Should I take it with food or on an empty stomach? A: Either is fine. If your stomach is sensitive, I'd take it in the morning with breakfast. Otherwise, you can take it with juice or on an empty stomach.

Q: Why does this one use methylfolate and methylcobalamin? A: MaryRuth uses calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate for folate and methylcobalamin for B12. Those are the active forms, which is why a lot of people prefer them. If other B vitamins haven't agreed with you, this one may be easier to tolerate.

Q: I've heard liquid vitamins absorb better. Is that true with this one? A: Maybe, but I wouldn't assume liquid is better for everyone. A lot of people pick this one because it's easier than swallowing pills, and it still gives you a broad mix of vitamins like A, C, D3, and E, plus zinc, chromium, choline, and B vitamins.

Q: Does it have anything besides basic vitamins and minerals? A: Yes. It also has choline bitartrate, inositol, MSM, betaine, hesperidin, and a branched-chain amino acid blend with L-leucine.

Q: My doctor said to be careful with supplements during pregnancy. Is this one okay? A: I'd check first. The label says to consult a physician before taking it if you're pregnant, so talk with your OB or midwife before starting it.
