FAQs About Thorne Research Memoractiv Capsules - Final Sale
Q: Does this have caffeine in it? A: Yes. A 2-capsule serving has 50 mg of caffeine from the PURENERGY blend, so I wouldn't take it near bedtime.
Q: How should I take Memoractiv? A: Take 2 capsules one to two times a day, and don't take it near bedtime. If you're sensitive to caffeine, I'd start with 2 capsules earlier in the day and see how you feel.
Q: Why does this one use ginkgo and bacopa together? A: They’re both here for brain support, but they’re not doing the exact same job. Each serving has 240 mg of ginkgo phytosome and 100 mg of bacopa extract, and that’s a combo a lot of people look for for memory and focus.
Q: My doctor said to be careful with blood thinners. Is this one okay? A: Be careful with this one. Ginkgo can have a blood-thinning effect, so if you take anticoagulants or other medications, I'd check with your doctor or pharmacist before you start it.
Q: Should I take this if I'm pregnant or nursing? A: No. Don’t use this during pregnancy, while nursing, or if you’re trying to conceive. Check with your OB or midwife before starting anything like this.
Q: I've heard ashwagandha can make people sleepy. Will this do that? A: Maybe, but this isn’t really a bedtime formula. It has 300 mg of KSM-66 ashwagandha, but it also has 50 mg of caffeine plus acetyl-L-carnitine, so most people would take it earlier in the day.
Q: Does it have soy or animal ingredients? A: Yes. It has a soy-derived ingredient in the phytosome complex. The capsule is hypromellose, which is plant-based, so this one doesn’t contain gelatin.
