Q: Does this men's multi have iron in it? A: Yes, but not much. It has 3 mg per 3-capsule serving, so it's lower in iron than a lot of multis, but it's not iron-free.
Q: How many capsules should I take per day? A: Three a day. You can take all 3 at once with water, with or without food.
Q: Why does this one use methylfolate and methylcobalamin? A: They're the active forms of folate and B12. This one has 900 mcg DFE of methylfolate and 10 mcg of methylcobalamin, which some people prefer over folic acid and cyanocobalamin.
Q: I've heard vitamin K can be an issue with medications. Should I worry about that here? A: If you're on a blood thinner, definitely check first. This one has 90 mcg of vitamin K as MK-7, and that can affect meds like warfarin.
Q: Does it give you much magnesium or calcium? A: No, not really. It only has 36 mg of magnesium and 57 mg of calcium, so I wouldn't count on this as your main magnesium or calcium supplement.
Q: My doctor said to watch selenium and chromium. How much is in this one? A: They're both on the higher side. Selenium is 200 mcg and chromium is 400 mcg per serving, so if you're already taking either one separately, I'd add it up.
Q: Is there anything in here besides the vitamins and minerals? A: Yes. There's a 716 mg TCM Men's Blend with fenugreek, cordyceps, schisandra, reishi, and ginger, plus bone broth, bovine liver, and wild hake roe. Because of the animal ingredients and the gelatin capsule, this one isn't vegetarian.
