Q: Does this work well for dry, frizzy hair? A: Yes. That’s what it’s made for. It uses glycerin, panthenol, cocoa seed butter, and argan oil to add moisture and help smooth frizz, without sulfates or parabens.
Q: Should I use this on my scalp too, or just the ends? A: You can use it on both. The directions say to massage it into the scalp and hair, work it through the ends, then rinse thoroughly.
Q: Is it okay for curly hair, or is it better for straight hair? A: It works for both. It’s meant to moisturize straight and curly hair, so if your hair gets dry, puffy, or hard to manage, it should be a good fit.
Q: Why does this feel so softening compared to some conditioners? A: A lot of that comes from the fatty alcohols and conditioning agents. Cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, and stearalkonium chloride help detangle and smooth the hair, so it feels softer right away.
Q: I've got a sensitive scalp. Is this a good one to try? A: Usually yes, especially since it’s made for dry hair and sensitive scalps and leaves out sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, and formaldehyde. If your skin reacts to a lot of things, I’d still patch test first since it does have plant extracts and fragrance-related ingredients like benzaldehyde.
