Qēt Botanicals Balancing Toning Water With Melissa, Cucumber, Rose Geranium & Probiotics

Does your skin tend to be imbalanced or stressed? If so, the Balancing Toning Water is a great choice for you. It was specially designed for sensitive combination skin or complexions in need of a little pick-me-up. Natural, organic, and made from pure steam-distilled plant water, the Balancing Toning Water helps keep skin feeling balanced and refreshed.*

Feel your skin sigh with relief with each spray of this lightly stimulating mist! The Balancing Toning Water gives your skin benefits similar to essential oils. Where essential oils may be too strong for certain uses, toning water can be used widely with confidence. Each pure bottle contains flower and fruit compounds from the whole plant. The distillation process is done in small, precise batches, ensuring the full botanical profile is present throughout. It’s like preserving a piece of nature directly for your face.

  • Melissa leaf: Coming from the fragrant Lemon Balm herb, Melissa is a botanical antioxidant that helps support calm-looking skin, promotes a refreshed appearance, and helps skin feel toned.*

  • Cucumber: If you’ve ever enjoyed the refreshing taste of cool cucumber water in the heat of summer, then you know exactly what this hydrating fruit can do for your skin. It helps refresh the look of tired skin and promotes a calm, hydrated appearance, including the look of puffiness around the eyes.*

  • Rose-geranium: This pretty pink flower helps wash away the look of dull skin and daily buildup, encourages balanced-looking oil levels, comforts skin that feels stressed or overheated, and helps promote a healthy-looking complexion.*

  • Pomegranate Probiotic Peptides: A recent addition to this toning water as a way to adapt to modern times, probiotic peptides offer a whole new layer of skin-loving nourishment that helps support a healthy-looking, refreshed complexion.* The natural peptides from pomegranate help keep skin feeling balanced and help support skin’s natural barrier against everyday environmental stressors.*

Qēt’s toning waters include pure floral and fruit waters that carry light concentrations of flower actives to your face and can be used with a serum or on their own. Use it as the third of five steps in our favorite skincare brand’s system for healthy-looking skin, or enjoy on its own as a refreshing facial hydrosol. Either way, your complexion will feel beautifully toned and renewed!* If you’re new to Qēt Botanicals, we’re happy to recommend that you take a look at their Getting Started Facial Kit. It’s a wonderful place to begin your botanical beauty experience!

Suggested Use:

Step 1. Prepare face for toning after cleansing and exfoliating.

Step 2. Spray 1-2 pumps of Balancing Toning Water with Melissa, Cucumber & Rose onto your hands. Press onto the face.

Step 3. You’re good to move onto hydrating! Leave face damp before applying your serum.

Hydrating: Spray 1-2 mists onto your hands, add 3 drops of serum, and apply the mixture to your face.

Pro Tip: If you’re cleansing your face well in the evening, there shouldn’t be a need to re-cleanse the morning after. Simply moisten your face, blend your toning water with serum, and press onto your face. Save yourself a step by cleansing with intention every night!

And because who doesn’t love bonuses?! Qēt Botanicals Toning Waters can be used to set makeup!

Do: Give yourself a light mist throughout the day without fear of unsettling your mineral makeup or powder.

Don’t: Substitute your toning water as a cleansing oil for removing makeup. While it will successfully, and refreshingly, remove the makeup from your face, it does not perform the deep-cleaning only your cleansing oil can provide. To make sure you fully remove any dirt, grime, or traces of makeup, it’s recommended to use only your cleansing oil as a makeup remover.

Cautions: Keep out of the reach of children. Consult a physician before using this product if you are pregnant, nursing, taking any medications, or have a medical condition. If you have a negative reaction, discontinue use and consult with a health professional.

FAQs About Qēt Botanicals Balancing Toning Water With Melissa, Cucumber, Rose Geranium & Probiotics

Q: My skin gets red really easily. Is this the kind of toner I'd look at? A: Yeah, this is the kind I'd look at first for that. It uses melissa leaf distillate, cucumber fruit distillate, rose geranium flower distillate, and lactobacillus ferment, so it feels more like a face mist for skin that gets reactive or flushed, not a harsh astringent toner.

Q: When do I use it in my routine? A: Right after cleansing. Spray 1 to 2 pumps into your hands, press it onto your face, then go straight to serum while your skin is still a little damp.

Q: I've heard probiotics in skincare can be hit or miss. Why does this one use lactobacillus ferment? A: Here it's lactobacillus ferment from a pomegranate enzyme probiotic peptide. In this kind of formula, it's usually there to help keep skin from feeling thrown off, not to exfoliate like an acid toner.

Q: Would you spray this straight on your face or put it in your hands first? A: I'd do hands first, since that's how they suggest using it. A couple of pumps is plenty, then you can press it in without getting mist in your eyes.

Q: Rose geranium sounds nice, but my skin can be picky. Could that be a problem? A: Maybe. Rose geranium flower distillate can be totally fine for a lot of people, but if your skin tends to react to fragrant plant waters or essential-oil-type ingredients, I'd patch test before using it all over your face.

Q: Do I need a cotton pad with this? A: No. This is more of a mist than an old-school swipe-on toner, so hands are easier and you won't waste as much.

Q: I'm pregnant and trying to keep skincare simple. Would you still use this? A: I'd check with your OB or midwife before starting this one. Since it uses melissa and rose geranium distillates, I'd rather play it safe during pregnancy or nursing.
