Acure Curiously Clarifying Conditioner
Let it shine! This clarifying conditioner boosts your hair’s natural shine with its lush, moisturizing plant actives. Our customers love it for its squeaky clean feel that’s made with safe, trustworthy ingredients. A proprietary blend of plant oils and antioxidants such as blackberry, acai, and rosehip deliver all kinds of nourishing goodness while smoothing tangled hair and calming frizz. The aroma is balanced, refreshing and not overwhelming. The clarifying condition is wonderful at retaining your natural oil and moisturizing your locks without creating buildup. Curiously soft hair is yours to behold! Hair’s a look at the conditioner’s top star performers:
- Lemongrass: Lemongrass isn’t just for your favorite Thai dish! The robust grass is brimming with B vitamins that fortify hair follicles and promote healthy hair growth. Rich in minerals, lemongrass has an invigorating, lemony scent.
Argan: Argan oil is exceptional when it comes to nourishing hair and promoting luscious locks. With an impressively rich content of vitamins, argan soothes frizz, and keeps hair protected against breakage. It’s even been known to reduce dandruff thanks to its deep-absorbing moisturization power.
As with all Acure hair products, there are no silicones or harsh chemicals in this clarifying conditioner. Instead, it’s made with safe (and color safe!) natural ingredients.

FAQs About Acure Curiously Clarifying Conditioner
Q: Does this conditioner work for oily hair or buildup? A: Yes. I'd mainly recommend it for that. The lemongrass ingredients and lighter conditioning base help soften hair without feeling too heavy, so it works well if your scalp gets oily or your hair feels dull from buildup.
Q: Should I use this every day or just once in a while? A: You can use it daily if your hair does well with clarifying products. I'd keep an eye on your ends, though. If your hair is very dry or color-treated, you may want to alternate with something more moisturizing.
Q: Why does this one smell so fresh? A: It's mostly the lemongrass and essential oils. It has Cymbopogon schoenanthus extract, plus lemongrass leaf, rosemary, lavender, and cedarwood oils, so it smells more herbal and citrusy than sweet.
Q: Does it have silicones or sulfates in it? A: No. It's free of sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, and formaldehyde, and I don't see silicones in the ingredient list either.
Q: How do I use it for best results? A: Apply it to wet hair, work it through your scalp and down to the ends, then rinse well. If your roots get oily quickly, use a little less near the scalp and a little more on the ends.
Q: I've got sensitive skin. Could the essential oils be irritating? A: Yes, for some people. Since it has lemongrass, rosemary, lavender, and cedarwood oils, I'd be careful if fragrance or botanicals usually bother your scalp. Stop using it if you notice itching or irritation.
Q: Is there anything in here that's actually moisturizing, or is it just clarifying? A: Yes, it has some conditioning ingredients too. Glycerin helps with moisture, panthenol helps soften hair, and it also has argan oil, avocado oil, sea buckthorn oil, and cocoa seed butter so it doesn't leave your hair feeling stripped.
