Plant Therapy Brain Aid Synergy Blend
Plant Therapy Brain Aid Synergy Blend combines a whole array of mood-boosting and mentally energizing essential oils. It’s perfect for anyone in the midst of the afternoon slump, or when their brains start feeling ‘foggy’ after several hours of meetings or classes. For our team, we recommend a two-minute break from what you’re doing and a deep inhale from your personal inhaler or a diffuser. Or, add it to a carrier oil and dab it onto your pressure points for a quick pick-me-up. This brain-boosting blend of essential oils for concentration combines a host of fragrant and stimulating oils.
Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil: Grapefruit Essential Oil stimulates both the body and the mind. It stimulates the endocrine system to promote the correct balance of hormones and enzymes involved in metabolism.* It also gives a jump start to the nervous system for more energy and alertness. Plus, it refreshes your ability to focus cheerfully on the task at hand.*
Bergamot Essential Oil: You’ll find bergamot in this blend of essential oils for concentration thanks to its ability to clear away dark and gloomy thoughts, giving you a feeling of freshness, joy, and energy instead. It also promotes relaxation and helps ease everyday stress and nervous tension.*
Palmarosa Essential Oil: This oil relaxes taut muscles and nerves, helps with fatigue, and promotes a calmer mood and emotional balance during everyday stress.*
Juniper Berry Essential Oil: This oil acts as a stimulant that helps you overcome fatigue, dizziness, and occasional low mood.* But best of all, it increases the activity of the brain and nervous system to help you better maintain focus and concentration.*
Basil Linalool Essential Oil: This fragrant essential oil helps ease occasional nervous tension and promotes head and neck comfort.* It also provides mental clarity!*
Lemon Essential Oil: Lemon is an essential oil that this blend couldn’t do without! It helps with mental fatigue and emotional exhaustion and promotes relaxation and a calm, positive mood during times of everyday stress.* It even helps remove odors from the air, for a fresh, clean-smelling workspace!*
Rosemary Essential Oil: No brain aid blend would be complete without rosemary essential oil. It is often used to support mental alertness, focus, and cognitive performance during demanding tasks.* It also helps with mental fatigue and occasional forgetfulness.*
Peppermint Essential Oil: Occasional head tension keeping you from work? Peppermint helps ease head tension and promotes a refreshed, relaxed feeling.* It also helps with mental stress.*
May Chang Essential Oil: Uplifting and stimulating, this essential oil provides a welcome respite from stress and fatigue.*
Star Anise Essential Oil: Feeling overwhelmed? Star Anise essential oil supports a calm, centered mindset and helps you stay grounded during occasional moments of stress, so you can focus and get done the work you need to and finally breathe a sigh of relief.*
Note: This essential oil blend is not safe for kids 10 and under. For children use Plant Therapy’s fantastic companion KidSafe synergy blend called Study Time.

FAQs About Plant Therapy Brain Aid Synergy Blend
Q: Does this help with focus, or is it more for relaxation? A: More for focus. Brain Aid blends pink grapefruit, bergamot, rosemary 1,8 cineole, peppermint, basil linalool, and other oils people usually diffuse when they want to feel clearer and less frazzled.
Q: How do I use this one? A: Diffuse it, inhale it, or dilute it before putting it on skin. For topical use, keep it at 2 to 5%. If you're using it on wrists or temples, I'd stay on the lower end since it has citrus oils like grapefruit, bergamot, and lemon.
Q: Can I put it straight on my temples? A: No. Don't put it on undiluted. Since it has grapefruit, bergamot, and lemon, I'd keep it around 2% on skin because of sun sensitivity.
Q: Why does this one say to be careful with pregnancy or hormone-related issues? A: Because this blend is considered estrogenic. I'd avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I'd also skip it if you have endometriosis or estrogen-sensitive cancers unless your practitioner says it's okay.
Q: I've heard rosemary and peppermint can feel strong. Is that true in this blend? A: Yeah, they can. Rosemary 1,8 cineole and peppermint are both pretty stimulating aromatically, so if you're sensitive to strong scents, start with just a few drops in the diffuser.
Q: Should I take this essential oil internally for memory? A: No. I wouldn't take this one internally. Plant Therapy doesn't recommend ingesting essential oils, and this blend is meant for diffusion, inhalation, massage, or diluted topical use.
Q: Is this safe to use around kids? A: No, not this one. It's marked as not child-safe, so I'd keep it out of reach and use something else if you want a blend for a kid's room.
