FAQs About Plant Therapy Organic Sweet Orange Essential Oil
Q: Does this smell like a real orange or more like a cleaner scent? A: It smells more like fresh orange peel. Sweet and citrusy, without that fake cleaner or candy note.
Q: How do I use this in a diffuser? A: Start with 3 to 5 drops in your diffuser. That’s enough for most people. If you want it stronger, add a little more.
Q: Should I put Sweet Orange essential oil straight on my skin? A: No, dilute it first. A good rule of thumb is 2% to 5% in a carrier oil, lotion, or cream so it’s less likely to irritate your skin.
Q: What's actually in this one? A: Just one ingredient: Citrus Aurantium Dulcis, which is sweet orange peel oil. That’s it—organic peel oil, nothing else mixed in.
Q: I've heard citrus oils can make you sun-sensitive. Is that true with this one? A: Yes, citrus oils can sometimes make skin more sun-sensitive. Sweet orange is usually lower risk than some other citrus oils, but I’d still avoid putting it on skin that’s going straight into direct sun.
Q: Can I use this for immune support? A: You can use it aromatically for that kind of everyday use, like in a diffuser or personal inhaler. I just wouldn’t take it like a supplement, since the only listed ingredient is sweet orange peel oil and there’s no serving size listed.
