Qet Botanicals Hydrating Cleansing Oil with Lavender
This hydrating cleansing oil for dry skin and sensitive faces helps brighten and comfort skin while washing away oil and impurities. It balances and hydrates with plant actives, leaving your skin soft and rejuvenated.
Qēt Botanicals uses a pristine line-up of ingredients to craft this soothing cleansing oil. It’s made with therapeutic oils and flower actives — which are just as magical as they sound!
Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Extra virgin olive oil is an ancient tool in skincare. This cleansing remedy helps cleanse skin and supports a clearer-looking, more balanced complexion while promoting soft, hydrated skin. It gently whisks away dirt, oil, and makeup, leaving in its place antioxidants and Vitamins A and E.
- Castor Oil: Just a touch of castor oil is added to this hydrating cleansing oil. It helps comfort dry, delicate skin and supports the skin's natural moisture balance. It also naturally cleanses while leaving skin feeling soft, calm, and refreshed.
Flower Actives: Botanical actives from lavender flowers help hydrate the skin, keeping it fresh and smooth. The actives help comfort skin and support a more balanced, even-looking complexion. The cleansing oils work in harmony with the therapeutic flower actives. We also include wild chamomile, geranium, and true jasmine. These flower elements cleanse, hydrate, and brighten your complexion while helping skin feel deeply nourished.
This cleansing oil for dry skin is perfect for anyone dealing with dull, red, or sensitive skin — or all of the above! It helps soothe, cleanse, and deeply hydrate skin, leaving it feeling soft and cared for, using time-honored skin-care practices.
Step 1. Gently shake the bottle before each use.
Step 2. Place a small amount of the cleansing oil (approximately ⅛ teaspoon) into your palm, then massage it into the skin. (There should be enough to allow your fingers to glide easily over the skin.)
Step 3. Moisten a washcloth in warm water and press to the skin to remove the cleanser entirely.
Use every evening for normal/dry skin. We recommend using it every morning and evening for skin that experiences excess oil or occasional blemishes.
This cleansing oil for dry skin can be used to remove eye makeup, or you can use Qēt’s Supple Eye Makeup Remover separately. If using an exfoliator as well, add this to your skin before removing the cleanser. Gently massage it into the skin and follow the same steps to remove the combination of cleanser and exfoliant.

FAQs About Qet Botanicals Hydrating Cleansing Oil with Lavender
Q: How do I use this cleansing oil without leaving my skin greasy? A: Use a small amount, about 1/8 teaspoon, and massage it onto dry skin first. Then press a warm, damp washcloth over your face and wipe it off well. That part really matters.
Q: Does this work well for dry or sensitive skin? A: Yes, that's mainly why I'd reach for it. The olive oil and castor oil help loosen makeup and grime without making your skin feel stripped, and the lavender and chamomile make it feel a little more calming.
Q: Why does this one use olive oil and castor oil? A: Because they each do something different. Olive fruit oil gives it that soft, cushiony feel, and castor bean oil helps break up makeup, sunscreen, and extra oil.
Q: Should I use it morning and night? A: For normal to dry skin, I'd use it at night. If your skin is more acne-prone or you get frequent blemishes, morning and night can make sense.
Q: I've heard cleansing oils can make breakouts worse. Is that true with this one? A: Not always. A cleansing oil can help lift excess oil and debris gently, but if you're really prone to breakouts or sensitive to essential oils, I'd patch test first.
Q: Does it have any ingredients I should be cautious with? A: Yes. If you're sensitive to fragrance or essential oils, I'd take a close look at this one. It has lavender, chamomile, geranium, and jasmine flower oils, so I'd be careful if your skin gets irritated easily.
