FAQs About Integrative Therapeutics ProThrivers™ Wellness Sleep Capsules

Q: Does this help you fall asleep, or stay asleep too? A: It’s formulated to help with healthy sleep onset and restful sleep patterns.* It has melatonin for sleep timing, plus L-theanine, magnesium bisglycinate, and magnolia bark extract to help you wind down at bedtime.*

Q: How many capsules should I take at night? A: Start with 1 capsule at bedtime. The suggested use is 1 to 2 capsules, and I'd only go up to 2 if 1 doesn't feel like enough for you.

Q: Why does this one use Suntheanine® and magnolia bark? A: They're there more for the calming side of sleep support.* Suntheanine® is just a branded form of L-theanine, and the magnolia bark extract is standardized to 2% honokiol and 1% magnolol.

Q: Should I take it with food? A: You can, but you don't have to. Most people choose to take it 30 to 60 minutes before bed, though individual responses may vary.

Q: My doctor said to be careful with melatonin. Who shouldn't use this one? A: Yeah, a few groups should avoid it unless their practitioner says it's okay. Don't use it if you're pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or nursing. Be careful too if you're taking prescription drugs or being treated for occasional low mood, blood sugar concerns, seizures, blood clotting issues, or immune or endocrine disorders.

Q: Will it make me groggy the next morning? A: It can, especially if you take too much or you're sensitive to melatonin. I'd start with 1 capsule on a night when you don't need to be up super early. And don't take it before driving or doing anything that needs your full attention.
