These mini softgels have a delicious lemon flavor and are small enough that children are able to easily swallow them. As with all Nordic Naturals fish oil products, Complete Omega Junior is crafted using the triglyceride molecular form of fish oil. This whole-food form is most easily absorbed by your body so that each dose offers maximum potency and support. Complete Omega Junior is non-GMO, third-party tested, and surpasses the strictest international standards for purity and potency.

Suggested Use: For ages 6-12 years, two soft gels daily, with food, or as directed by your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Q: Does this have both fish oil and borage oil in it? A: Yes. It has fish oil from anchovies and sardines, plus borage seed oil, so you get omega-3s along with some omega-6 GLA.

Q: How much should my child take per day? A: For ages 6 to 12, the dose is two mini softgels daily with food. I’d give them with a meal since they usually go down easier that way and are less likely to repeat on you.

Q: Why does this one include GLA? A: It’s not just plain fish oil. Along with 283 mg of omega-3s, it also has 120 mg of omega-6s, including 35 mg of GLA from borage seed oil.

Q: I've heard DHA matters more for kids' brains. How much DHA is in here? A: There’s 90 mg of DHA per 2-softgel serving. It also has 135 mg of EPA, so it’s a mix, not DHA-only.

Q: My doctor said to watch fish oil with blood thinners. Is that true for this one too? A: Yes, use caution. Fish oil can affect bleeding risk, and the brand says to check with your doctor if your child takes medications, especially blood thinners.
