Innate Response Formulas Baby & Me Multivitamin

Establishing good health is important for everyone, but especially for all the mothers out there! Whether you're a first-time mom or you're expecting again, Baby & Me Multivitamin delivers complete body-balancing support* during these crucial months.

Formulated by award-winning integrative physician Tieraona Low Dog, M.D., this multivitamin is packed with bioavailable vitamins and trace minerals. Vitamins A, C, D, E, K and a complete line-up of B vitamins mean you're giving yourself — and baby — precisely what you both need to thrive.

Since your body produces more blood during pregnancy to support your little one's growth, it's vital to increase your red blood cell count to help maintain healthy energy and oxygen transport.* Up to 25% of pregnancies in the U.S. experience iron deficiency — don't let that be you! With Baby & Me Multivitamin, you can wave low-iron worries away!

Here's a closer look at the wide array of support this prenatal supplement offers:

  • Folate: Baby & Me Multivitamin includes folate in its methylated form (L-5 MTHF). This type of folate is the most bioavailable and supports healthy fetal development.* Folate's benefits are enhanced by the addition of brain-and-gene-supporting choline.

  • Vitamin B12: Vitamin B12 plays a role in central nervous system health* for your growing baby. It's also important for maintaining healthy blood.*

  • Iron: Pregnant women require 2x the amount of iron intake than non-pregnant women. The essential mineral helps maintain healthy blood production and supports oxygen transport throughout the body.*

  • Vitamin D3: Vitamin D3 is Vitamin D in its most bioavailable form. The essential vitamin supports immune function, bone health, heart health, and a balanced mood.*

  • Vitamin K: Vitamin K (as K1) supports normal blood clotting and overall blood health.* It's also beneficial for bone health.*

  • Vitamin C: Vitamin C is vital for a variety of reasons. It helps with collagen formation, immune function, and iron absorption.*

  • Vitamin A: Vitamin A helps with the foundational development of the baby's organs, eyes, bones, and central nervous system.* It's also incredibly helpful for postpartum as it aids in tissue health and repair.*

  • Vitamin E: Vitamin E supports healthy skin, eye health, and immune function.*

Baby & Me's complete dose of B-vitamins — including B-1 (thiamine), B-2 (riboflavin), B-3 (niacin), B-5 (pantothenic acid), B-6 (pyridoxine), B-7 (biotin), B-9 (folate), and B-12 (cobalamin) — makes this an outstanding choice for the way it supports full-body function.*

Another great benefit? Its curated blend of trace minerals such as zinc, manganese, copper, and selenium work synergistically with its curated blend of nutrients, helping promote overall wellness for you and your baby throughout pregnancy and beyond!*

Note: Baby & Me does not include calcium or magnesium. It's recommended to take an additional calcium and magnesium supplement to support healthy muscle contraction and bones!*

FAQs About Innate Response Formulas Baby & Me Multivitamin

Q: Does this have methylated folate, or is it folic acid? A: It uses L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, not folic acid. You get 1,020 mcg DFE per 2 tablets, which is 170% of the daily value for pregnant and lactating women.

Q: How do I take it? A: Take 2 tablets a day with a drink. You can take them both at once or split them up. Taking them on an empty stomach is usually fine if multivitamins don't normally bother your stomach.

Q: Why does this one include choline? A: Because choline matters during pregnancy, and a lot of prenatals don't include much. This one gives you 300 mg per serving, so you're already getting a solid amount.

Q: I've heard iron can be hard on the stomach. Is the iron in this one gentle? A: Usually, yes. It uses 18 mg of fermented iron bisglycinate, which is often easier on the stomach than harsher forms. Some people still do better taking it with food, though.

Q: My doctor said to watch vitamin K. Does this one have any? A: Yes. It has 60 mcg of vitamin K1 plus 30 mcg of K2 as MK-7. If you take a blood thinner like warfarin, check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting it.

Q: Should I take this while pregnant or nursing without asking anybody? A: No, I'd still check with your OB or midwife first. It's made for pre- and postnatal use, but you want your provider to make sure it fits with your labs, meds, and any other supplements you're taking.

Q: Does it give you active B vitamins, or just the basic forms? A: Yes, some of the B vitamins are in active forms. You get B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, folate as methylfolate, and B12 as methylcobalamin. That's something a lot of people look for in a prenatal.
