Iron is the star of this supplement! Iron is a mega mineral that does a lot more for our body than you might expect. It helps with energy and stamina by playing a role in red blood cell formation, which carries oxygen and other nutrients throughout the body, especially to our muscles.*
- Supports cognitive function*

- Supports cellular growth and development*
- Promotes circulatory health*
We all know vitamin C as a famed antioxidant. It helps with immune function by defending against oxidative stress, and just like iron, it’s involved in loads of bodily functions.*
- Helps with cell repair*
- Promotes collagen production*
- Helps maintain the integrity of our skeletal system*
- Enhances iron absorption*
- Helps maintain blood pressure levels already within the normal range*
Vitamin B12 is another key vitamin that our body needs but can’t naturally produce by itself. It’s included in this iron supplement because, like iron, it plays an essential role in red blood cell production.*
- Supports the circulatory and nervous systems*
- Aids in the production of DNA*
- Supports healthy eye function and visual health*
Folate is another important B vitamin that’s essential for optimal cellular function. It’s often associated with the development of the brain and nervous system, and it’s included in Integrative Therapeutics Iron Complex to help maintain healthy energy levels.*
- Helps in the development of red blood cells and DNA*

FAQs About Integrative Therapeutics Iron Complex Softgels
Q: Does this give you a pretty high dose of iron? A: Yes. A full serving gives you 50 mg of iron as ferrous succinate. That's a pretty strong dose, and it's usually for people who already know they need extra iron.
Q: Should I take both softgels at once or split them up? A: I'd start with 2 softgels a day with food, just like the bottle says. If iron bothers your stomach, try one with breakfast and one with dinner.
Q: Why does this have vitamin C and B12 in it? A: It has 120 mg of vitamin C to help with iron absorption. It also gives you 200 mcg of B12 and 666 mcg DFE of folate, which are all tied to red blood cell production.
Q: I've heard iron can be hard on your stomach. Is this one gentler? A: For a lot of people, yes. Ferrous succinate is often easier on the stomach than some basic forms of iron. That said, iron can still cause nausea or constipation, so I'd take it with food.
Q: My doctor said to watch allergens. Does this have soy or animal ingredients? A: Yes, both. It has soybean oil and soy lecithin. The softgel also uses gelatin, and it includes 500 mg of liquid liver fractions, so it's not vegetarian.
Q: Can I take this if I'm pregnant or nursing? A: No, unless your OB or midwife specifically tells you to. The label says not to use it during pregnancy or while nursing.
Q: Does it interact with medications? A: It can. Iron can affect how some meds are absorbed, especially thyroid medicine, certain antibiotics, and some osteoporosis drugs. I'd space it out and check with your pharmacist.
