Jarrow Formulas Toco Sorb®

A healthy heart and brain can benefit from vitamin E support!* Jarrow Formulas Toco Sorb is a high-absorption formula of vitamin E compounds your body can readily use. That means you get more out of this essential nutrient.

Vitamin E isn’t always easily absorbed, so bioavailability really matters when you’re choosing the right product. And when absorption falls short, vitamin E levels can too. That can show up as vision changes, muscle weakness, slow recovery, and less-than-optimal immune function.

That’s why Jarrow Formulas Toco Sorb is one of the best vitamin E supplements out there! It combines mixed tocotrienols with vitamin E in a formula that helps maintain healthy vitamin E levels.* In fact, this supplement provides up to three times greater absorption than vitamin E on its own!

So why might your body want a high-dose vitamin like Toco Sorb? Let’s dig into what this antioxidant supplement brings to the table!

  • Promotes cardiovascular and circulatory health*

  • Helps maintain healthy immune function*

  • Plays a role in healthy red blood cell function*

  • Helps support healthy skin and complexion*

  • Supports healthy vision and eye function*

  • Good for healthy digestive and metabolic function*

  • Provides antioxidant support to help neutralize free radicals*

So, what makes this vitamin E supplement stand out? Jarrow Formulas Toco Sorb is derived from natural full spectrum palm oil. Because the body needs fat to absorb vitamin E, this oil is a great fit for the formula. It contains naturally occurring compounds that make absorption easier.

Jarrow Formulas Toco Sorb provides vitamin E to support heart, brain, skin, and visual function!* Want to know what else vitamin E can do for you? You have questions, and we have answers! FAQs About Jarrow Formulas Toco Sorb® Softgels

Q: Does this give you regular vitamin E, or is it more about tocotrienols? A: Both. It gives you 13 mg of vitamin E as d-alpha tocopherol, plus 375 mg of a palm tocotrienol-tocopherol complex that includes 57 mg of tocotrienols.

Q: How should I take Toco Sorb softgels? A: Take one softgel with a meal, once or twice a day. I'd take it with food that has some fat, since vitamin E and tocotrienols are fat-soluble.

Q: I've heard tocotrienols are different from tocopherol. Is that true? A: Yes. They're both part of the vitamin E family, but this one leans more toward tocotrienols. It has d-alpha, d-beta, d-gamma, and d-delta tocotrienols, not just tocopherol by itself.

Q: Should I take this for heart and circulation support? A: You can. People often use vitamin E and tocotrienols for antioxidant support for the heart and circulation, but I wouldn't use it in place of anything your doctor has you on.

Q: Does it have any medication concerns? A: Yes, a little. Vitamin E can be an issue with blood thinners or anything else that affects bleeding, so if you take meds, I'd run it by your pharmacist first.

Q: Is this softgel vegetarian or vegan? A: No. The softgel uses bovine gelatin, so it's not vegetarian or vegan.

Q: Can I use this if I'm pregnant or trying to conceive? A: I'd hold off and ask your doctor first. If you're trying to conceive, pregnant, or nursing, check with your OB or midwife before starting it.
