FAQs About MegaFood One Daily Multivitamin

Q: Does this cover the basics for a once-a-day multivitamin? A: Yes. You get 13 vitamins plus minerals like iron, iodine, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, and chromium in one tablet a day.

Q: Should I take MegaFood One Daily with food? A: You can, but you don't have to. The usual directions are one tablet a day with a drink, and you can take it anytime, even on an empty stomach.

Q: Why does this one use cyanocobalamin for B12 instead of methylcobalamin? A: MegaFood uses cyanocobalamin for the B12 in this formula. Most people do fine with it. If you specifically want methylcobalamin, I'd go with a different multivitamin.

Q: Does it have iron in it? A: Yes. It uses iron bisglycinate, which is often easier on the stomach than some other forms. Still, keep it out of reach of kids because iron overdose can be very serious.

Q: I've heard vitamin K can be an issue with blood thinners. Is that true here? A: Yes. This one includes vitamin K as phytonadione, so if you take warfarin or another blood thinner, check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting it.

Q: My doctor said to watch iodine. Does this multivitamin have it? A: Yes. It has iodine as iodine glycinate. If you have a thyroid condition or you've been told to limit iodine, check with your doctor before taking it.
