Q: Does Nuun Immunity actually have electrolytes, or is it mostly vitamins? A: Yes, both. Each tablet has 100 mg sodium, 150 mg potassium, and 40 mg chloride, plus small amounts of calcium and magnesium. It also includes 200 mg vitamin C, 5 mg zinc, and 20 mcg selenium.
Q: How do I take it? A: Drop 1 tablet into 16 ounces of water and let it dissolve. Most people do fine with 1 to 4 tablets a day. I wouldn't take more than 6.
Q: I've heard this has elderberry and echinacea. How much is in there? A: It has a 125 mg proprietary herbal blend with elderberry extract, organic ginger, organic turmeric, and echinacea purpurea. The label doesn't break out how much of each one you get, so if you need exact amounts, you'd have to ask the company.
Q: Should I use this instead of a regular electrolyte tablet after a workout? A: You can, especially if you want hydration plus some vitamin C and zinc. Just know it's lighter on electrolytes than a lot of sports formulas. It has 100 mg of sodium per tablet, so if you sweat a lot, you may want something with more sodium.
Q: Does it have much sugar? A: Not really. Each tablet has 15 calories, 4 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of added sugar, mixed into 16 ounces of water.
