The Restoring Herbal Exfoliant with Tea & Roses is a beautiful medley of ingredients including elegant roses, deluxe green tea, soothing colloidal oats, and mineral-dense salt. Together, the ensemble is a restorative and gentle way to cleanse and remove dull skin cells, while repairing fresh new cells. The process is nature’s design and gift to you for a clearer tone, and a more vibrant, youthful glow.

The botanical blend is hydrating and uplifting – pure plant luxury for your skin! Powerful flower actives of rose and lavender provide acne therapy while soothing over redness and irritations. Inflammation-reducing minerals, combined with the natural alpha-hydroxy acids found in organic raw cane sugar, offer your skin a wonderfully deep surface exfoliation. Buff away impurities, and prevent them from appearing, with this herbal exfoliant with tea and roses!

  • Tea: Matcha green tea is an antioxidant-rich tea with an impressive history. Providing healing benefits for centuries, the tea has a unique capability to purify the skin, helping to protect it from wrinkle-producing sun damage.
  • Roses: Rose petals and oils of rose are featured for their soothing properties. The delicate flower softens and soothes dehydrated skin while providing a pleasing and uplifting boost of aromatherapy.
  • Salt: Pure salt mined from the Himalayas helps your body heal itself by supplying skin-enhancing trace minerals. The fine pink salt helps the skin diminish lines and scars by encouraging healthy skin cell production.
  • Oats: Colloidal oats have been popular since ancient times for their anti-inflammatory qualities. They are calming and deeply soothing, and aid in the removal of trapped impurities.

A gentle exfoliator is just as important as great skin-cleanser, and Qēt Botanicals is here to offer you the best of both in their herbal exfoliant with tea and roses! You can control the amount of every-day exfoliation your skin needs by adding in just the right amount for your unique skin. You’ll love the sight of your rejuvenated complexion!

How to Choose Your Exfoliant — Herbal or Clay?

Options are lovely! But, how to choose? Check out our breakdown of how the herbal and clay exfoliants differ:

First, how are they the same?
Herbal and clay exfoliants are equally soothing, hydrating, and softening for the skin. Both are cleansing with a gentle touch. Both bring out your skin’s radiance.

How are they different?
Herbal and clay exfoliants differ slightly in their performance: how deeply they penetrate and what they’re able to remove.

  • Herbal exfoliants are made with skin-nurturing fine powders that offer a lighter, more surface cleansing.
  • Clay exfoliants are made with natural mineral clay that acts like a sponge, literally mopping up trapped impurities from deep within your pores.

How to choose?

If you’re wanting the most gentle type of cleanse, then we recommend the herbal exfoliants.

If you currently suffer from impurities deep within the skin, or have a skin condition that is particularly hard to kick, we recommend the clay exfoliants.

With either type of exfoliant, be assured that your skin will be renewed and cleansed. Qēt recommends switching between the two kinds to take advantage of the unique healing benefits each has to offer.

Suggested Use: Apply on a daily basis to let your best skin shine! This blend is especially lovely to use before bed.

Step 1 (Prepare). After cleansing,* add a small portion of the herbal exfoliant with tea and roses to your palm or into a mask bowl if you have one. Blend in a bit of cleansing oil* to form a paste.

Step 2 (Apply). Massage the mixture onto your skin with small circular movements. Let the healing herbs work their magic – no scrubbing necessary! Stay clear of any open sores or blemishes until they’ve healed over.

Optional: Feel free to let the exfoliant paste sit on your skin for a few minutes. It’s not necessary, but by stopping to smell the roses, you’ll get an extra dose of nourishment from the healing botanicals!

Step 3 (Steam rinse). Open up your pores with a freshly dampened washcloth. Breathe in the decadent aroma of rose and allow your skin to be soothed and pampered.

*Optional: Combine Step 1 (Cleansing) with Step 2 (Exfoliating): After applying your cleansing oil, skip the warm washcloth steam and go right into applying your exfoliant.

*Blending oil, instead of water, with the herbal exfoliant helps activate the cleansing botanical properties.

Cautions: Keep out of the reach of children. If you have a negative reaction, discontinue use and consult with a health professional.

Qet (“keet”) Botanicals is a family-owned, Wisconsin company which offers freshly-made and hand-crafted face, hair, and body products made from organic, sustainable, and wild-crafted botanical ingredients.

Company founder, Lisa Brill, developed this line of premium products after experiencing health problems that necessitated removal of conventional beauty products. She discovered that many “natural” products contain small amounts of synthetic, and often harmful, ingredients. Lisa needed safe products that would not interfere with hormones or add to changing thyroid levels, and address changes in health and skin that were beginning to show both internally and externally. Research, careful application and blending soon led to treatments that almost immediately made changes in her skin, hair and overall health – all for the better! Lisa knew that she could never go back to the mass-produced and stale ingredients found on most store shelves. And she knew it was something she had to share with others. Qet Botanicals was born.

Qet formulates all of their own original products, manufactures them, fills and labels their packaging. They’ve promised to disclose EVERY INGREDIENT that goes into their formulations, and all of their products are rated in the safest category with the lowest hazard levels in the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep database.

Every product that Qet manufactures is made without the use of toxins, synthetics, or even a single drop of harmful chemicals or preservatives.
