Timing and dose
Take 2 to 4 capsules about an hour before you train. On long sessions you can take another 1 to 2 each hour from the two hour mark onward. That per-hour top-up is the part people miss, and it's the difference between this working as intended and not.
Four capsules is a full serving. The bottle holds 22.5 servings at that rate, so an endurance athlete using it through long rides will get through it faster than the label count suggests.
What's in it and why
Magnesium and potassium, both as aspartates, plus OKG (ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate). The aspartate form is the point: aspartic acid is involved in how your body handles the ammonia that accumulates during hard, extended effort. Ammonia build-up is one of the things behind that heavy-legged feeling late in a long session.
A full serving gives you 500 to 1000 mg of the magnesium and potassium aspartates and 480 to 960 mg of OKG, depending on whether you take two capsules or four. There's beet root juice powder and organic rice hull in there as well.
Who this is for
Endurance athletes, mainly. If your training is short and intense rather than long and sustained, ammonia accumulation is less of a factor and you'd get less out of this. No added sugars, which matters if you're already taking on carbohydrate during a session.

FAQs About Hammer Nutrition Anti-Fatigue Capsules
Q: When should I take Anti-Fatigue Caps? A: 2 to 4 capsules about an hour before training, then another 1 to 2 each hour from the two hour mark on longer sessions.
Q: What does the aspartate form do? A: Aspartic acid is involved in how your body handles the ammonia that builds up during long, hard efforts, which is part of what produces heavy legs late in a session.
Q: How many servings in a bottle? A: 22.5 at four capsules per serving, though endurance athletes using the hourly top-up will go through it faster.
Q: Is this useful for short workouts? A: Less so. It's built around long, sustained efforts where ammonia accumulation matters.
