Plant Therapy Lime Essential Oil (Steam Distilled)
Lime Essential Oil often seems to be passed over for other citrus oils, such as lemon and pink grapefruit. But this beautiful essential oil, much like the lime fruit itself, has wonderful benefits and a vibrant aroma that allows it to easily keep pace with those other, more well-known oils.
Lime Essential Oil offers astringent, antiviral, and antiseptic properties. It can help you get over an illness, boost the cleaning power of home cleaning products, and can even help to diminish signs of aging. *
Plant Therapy Steam Distilled Lime Essential oil, unlike cold-pressed lime essential oil, is not photo-toxic. This means that you can add it to lotions, balms, and other body products without worry about sun exposure!
Lime Essential Oil has a beautifully bright, citrus scent. Its fragrance is invigorating and stimulating and can help to energize and clear the mind. Diffuse it in your workspace or whenever and wherever you need a mental jolt and a mood pick-me-up. *
Is seasonal blues or illness getting you down? Diffuse Lime Essential Oil to brighten the mood and boost your immune system. It will help to cleanse the air and reduce the chances of the flu knocking your whole family out for the count. If you’ve already got the bug, inhale lime essential oil to help break up congestion for easier breathing. *
Topically, Lime Essential Oil has a wonderful astringent property that makes it helpful for limiting breakouts and clearing up acne. This astringent action also helps keep the skin firm, reduces signs of fine lines, and sunspots. It also helps to brighten dull skin, for a radiant glow! When added to shampoo or conditioner, Lime Essential Oil can help relieve a dry, itchy scalp and reduce dandruff. *
Around the home, Lime Essential Oil makes itself useful by repelling insects, adding extra ‘oomph’ to cleaning products, and even cuts through grease stains.
