Despite its common name, Plant Therapy Organic Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil doesn’t smell very much like Eucalyptus. Instead, it has a wonderful, sweet lemon-like aroma. This is thanks to one of its constituents, called citronella.
Our Organic Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the Lemon Eucalyptus tree of Madagascar. It possesses many wonderful health-supporting attributes that benefit both mind and body.

Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil is calming to the spirit with its sweet lemony aroma. Unlike other uplifting essential oils that are often also energizing, Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil provides a tranquil uplifting of the mood. Diffuse it when you’re feeling out of sorts and restless, or on gloomy, cloudy days to freshen the air — and your mood!
Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil, much like Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil, is wonderful for respiratory support. It helps at clear congested airways and promotes clear, deep breathing. It also helps the body combat bacterial and viral infections of the respiratory system.
Topically, Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil helps to speed the healing of wounds, minor cuts and burns, fungal infections, and the occurrence of dandruff! A dilution of lemon eucalyptus essential oil in a massage oil can also help to reduce body aches, whether due to overexertion, daily wear-and-tear, or to promote healing after an injury.
Around the home, lemon eucalyptus oil is wonderful for helping get rid of unwanted mosquitoes! In fact, lemon eucalyptus oil is a common ingredient in many commercial insect repellents! Studies have shown lemon eucalyptus to be equally effective to DEET, but without the negative side effects.*

Suggested Use: Diffuse Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil to help support a healthy respiratory system and keep the air in your home sweet smelling. Add to your favorite carrier oil or unscented lotion to make your time outdoors more enjoyable. For topical application, dilute to 2-4%.
