Choice plant actives serve as a wonderful, hydrating exfoliant in this detoxifying and anti-inflammatory treatment for combination skin:
- Matcha Green Tea: This special green powder is made from young tea leaves and has healing properties that make your skin look exceptionally vibrant. Its high concentration of antioxidants reduce signs of aging, buff away dead skin cells, and restore a healthy complexion.
- Lavender: Included in both flower form and as an oil, lavender reduces inflammation, relieves acne, and soothes redness or irritation.
- Himalayan Pink Salt: Naturally pure and mined from the ancient seas, Himalayan pink salt reduces marks and scarring, restores vital minerals to your skin, and promotes healthy skin cell growth.
- Colloidal Oats: An ancient remedy for inflammation, colloidal oats help remove trapped toxins and bacteria while gently soothing.
- Organic Raw Cane Sugar: Raw cane sugar carries cleansing compounds that, when combined with salt, promote toned and hydrated skin.
Between high levels of antioxidants and naturally-present alpha hydroxy acids, this hydrating exfoliant with herbs and minerals is a great spa-like treatment you can do right at home, without the need for harsh chemicals. Nature provides the best, top-quality beautifying tools to make your skin look and feel gorgeous.
Did you know a gentle exfoliation is as important a step as cleansing? Qēt’s cleansing oils prepare the face for the deep, restorative cleansing their exfoliants provide. It’s recommended you switch between light, soft herbal exfoliators, and deeper-reaching clay exfoliants as needed. With slight custom differences, you can control the level of exfoliation to your unique skin.

How to Choose Your Exfoliant – Herbal or Clay?
Options are wonderful! But sometimes, we can feel stuck. Let’s take a closer look at the herbal and clay exfoliants to see which type will be best for you:
First, how are they the same?
Both herbal and clay exfoliants carry soothing, hydrating, and skin-softening benefits. Both are gentle. Both are cleansing. Both allow your face to shine.
Okay, so how are they different?
Herbal and clay exfoliants differ slightly in how far-reaching they are.
Made with fine powders, the herbal exfoliants work best for lighter, more surface cleansing. One of these powders is mineral-rich pink salt that is very nourishing to the skin.
Made with mineral clay, the clay exfoliants are a bit more penetrating, acting like a sponge that withdraws deep-hidden toxins and impurities.
How to choose?
If you’re dealing with fewer blemishes, or need a surface cleanse, then the herbal exfoliants are great. If you currently suffer from hidden impurities, the clay exfoliants may be a better fit for you.
Either way, know that your skin will be cleansed for renewed vitality. And actually, Qēt recommends you switch between both the herbal and clay options, to accommodate for any changes in your skin condition.
Our advice? Unless you have very damaged skin, go ahead and give the lighter herbal exfoliant a try!
Suggested Use: Remove dull skin to let the fresh, new skin shine. Adding a light exfoliation to your care routine on a daily basis will keep your complexion fresh and hydrated.
Step 1. After cleansing*, add a small portion of hydrating exfoliant to your palm, or a mask bowl.
Step 2. Add a bit of your favorite cleansing oil* to create a paste.
Step 3. Using your hands or a brush, spread the mixture around your face and surrounding areas with small, gentle movements. You may choose to let the hydrating exfoliant dry onto your skin for up to three minutes, instead of rinsing off immediately. It’s not necessary, but adds an extra layer of botanical healing!
Step 4. End with a warm washcloth steam to open up your pores. Breathe and relax as you gently wipe the natural plant actives from your face, preparing your skin for toning and nourishment.
Cautions: Keep out of the reach of children. If you have a negative reaction, discontinue use and consult with a health professional.

Qet (“keet”) Botanicals is a family-owned, Wisconsin company which offers freshly-made and hand-crafted face, hair, and body products made from organic, sustainable, and wild-crafted botanical ingredients.
Company founder, Lisa Brill, developed this line of premium products after experiencing health problems that necessitated removal of conventional beauty products. She discovered that many “natural” products contain small amounts of synthetic, and often harmful, ingredients. Lisa needed safe products that would not interfere with hormones or add to changing thyroid levels, and address changes in health and skin that were beginning to show both internally and externally. Research, careful application and blending soon led to treatments that almost immediately made changes in her skin, hair and overall health – all for the better! Lisa knew that she could never go back to the mass-produced and stale ingredients found on most store shelves. And she knew it was something she had to share with others. Qet Botanicals was born.
Qet formulates all of their own original products, manufactures them, fills and labels their packaging. They’ve promised to disclose EVERY INGREDIENT that goes into their formulations, and all of their products are rated in the safest category with the lowest hazard levels in the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep database.
Every product that Qet manufactures is made without the use of toxins, synthetics, or even a single drop of harmful chemicals or preservatives.
